Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Recognized With National Award for Clinical Excellence
Lakewood Ranch Medical Center (LWRMC) physicians, leaders and clinicians celebrated the Center of Distinction award, which was presented to the LWRMC Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine for 2021.
The LWRMC Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine is a member of the Healogics® network of Wound Care Centers®. Healogics is the nation’s largest provider of advanced wound care services. The center achieved outstanding clinical outcomes for 12 consecutive months, including patient satisfaction higher than 92 percent, and a minimum wound healing rate of at least 92 percent within 28 median days. There were 601 centers eligible for the Center of Distinction award and only about 60 percent achieved the honor.

The LWRMC Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine is a member of the Healogics network of over 600 Wound Care Centers that provide access to benchmarking data and proven experience treating approximately 2.5 million chronic wounds.
