Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center Recognized for Clinical Excellence in Patient Satisfaction and Wound Healing Rates
The Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center has been awarded with the prestigious Center of Distinction Award and the Robert A. Warriner III, MD, Clinical Excellence Award by Healogics® - the nation’s largest provider of advanced wound care services.
The Center of Distinction Award recognized the Center’s outstanding clinical outcomes for 12 consecutive months and includes a patient satisfaction rate higher than 92%. The Robert A. Warriner III, MD, Clinical Excellence Award, recognized the Center for scoring in the top 10% of eligible Healogics® Wound Care Centers® on the Clinical Excellence measure, which is the comprehensive healing rate weighted by wound mix.

The Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine has been treating patients since 2016 and offers highly specialized wound care to patients suffering from chronic wounds, diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, trauma, venous insufficiency, soft tissue radiation injury and arterial disease using advanced wound care modalities and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
