• Family birthing suites: We have 14 labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum suites that offer a private, comfortable environment with homelike surroundings. Your baby stays in the room with you throughout your stay.
• Spa-like atmosphere: The beautifully appointed surroundings provide a peaceful environment for every stage of your journey, from admission to delivery and postpartum.
• Wireless security system: A wireless fetal monitor system allows you freedom of mobility, which can help with the birthing process and make you more comfortable. In addition, our security system will give you peace of mind throughout your stay.
• Swaddle bathing: We use the TurtleTub™, a bathtub designed to keep infants safe and warm.
• Obstetric nurses: Our nurses are highly skilled in labor support and family-centered nursing.
• Breastfeeding support: Nurses at the Women’s Center provide breastfeeding support. Certified lactation consultants are available throughout your stay and after discharge. Access breastfeeding resources.
• Neonatal care: We work with Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital to provide enhanced, 24/7 care for babies who require additional, specialized neonatal support in our Level 1 nursery.
