Lakewood Ranch Medical Center’s New Patient Tower Groundbreaking Ceremony Scheduled
Lakewood Ranch Medical Center has announced the date of the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new $120 million, inpatient bed tower on the hospital’s campus. Once construction is completed, the new tower is expected to open in late 2025.

This groundbreaking ceremony marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to provide high quality healthcare services to our community. The new patient tower will enhance our capacity to serve residents of Lakewood Ranch and surrounding areas by increasing the total number of licensed beds from 120 to 180. A second future construction phase will add 60 more beds bringing the total licensed beds to 240 – doubling the current bed capacity. This new tower will incorporate the latest advancements in medical technology and patient-centered design.
