Lakewood Ranch Medical Center Appoints New Chief Operating Officer
Lakewood Ranch Medical Center Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Andy Guz is pleased to announce the appointment of Philip Reber, MHA, to the hospital’s executive leadership team, where he will serve as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Reber will begin in December 2023.
As the new COO at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, Reber will play a pivotal part in advancing the hospital’s commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services to the Lakewood Ranch community and beyond.
Reber brings nearly 10 years of healthcare experience and comes to LWRMC from Reno, Nev., where he served as COO of Northern Nevada Medical Center, and interim COO of Northern Nevada Health System. Prior to that, Reber was an Associate Administrator at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Fla. His strategic vision and leadership skills will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency, enhancing patient care and fostering collaborative relationships with the medical staff and employees.

Reber earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration Policy and holds a Master’s in Healthcare Administration and Policy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, (ACHE).
